It's all about our Relationships...
Cloudshake.jpg Creating Lasting Business Relationships. image by cinimod76

I had a business (brainstorming) meeting this morning (it was great as always) as I left I thought to myself, this business is truly about relationships (not that I didn't know that already, but this morning just reaffirmed it). I thought to myself, it doesn't matter whether they are a client, fellow Realtor or service professional. It's all about developing the connection, the relationship and trust.

I consider myself blessed with all the relationships I have developed; clients, Realtors and service professionals. When I have a client that needs a referral I feel comfortable about referring that client to any one of the professionals I know.
The best compliment I received, was when a client said to me, " Maria, you surround yourself with a great group of professionals, thank you for everything"

I look forward to developing those same types of relationships here at our Active Rain community.

I believe that there is a reason why certain people come into our lives, and I believe that if we stay true to ourselves, treat people the way we would want to be treated, we can then build a network of people who enrich our lives, and our businesses, and whose lives and businesses we enrich in turn.

Here's to great relationships!

Great Post.  Relationships are the key.  I was just speaking to an agent who was thinking about joining us and making the switch into commercial real estate.  The majority of his business (like mine) has been based on relationships that he has "cultured" over his career.  They are so important.

Well said Maria, I have developed great relationships over the years, kind of reminds you why we came into this business in the first place.  Keep up the great work.

Maria - This seems to be a bit of the "in" line right now - but it is so unbelievably true.  Its one of the main reasons why I believe blogging can work so well - we can develop new relationships with potential clients without them feeling any pressure whatsoever.

OK - hook me up to be a POSITIVE connection in your relationship sphere! I think there's gotta be some N. IL folks who need a place up in my "neck of the woods". Let's do some business and be friends too.

I absolutely agree. I think it is critical to cultivate long term relationship with your clients and associates, and that is especially important after the transaction is over.
